All About Gabby

Gabby, a guiding angel, offers a message of hope and healing to everyone grieving the death of a loved one. Because Gabby understands the difficult inner struggles of grieving, she wears her work apron and assures everyone that she is prepared to help with the hard work of resolving the confusion and painful feelings that are a normal part of grieving. Gabby helps everyone realize that coming together with others who are hurting makes the lonely task of grieving much easier. She calls people together in support groups to offer her ladder with seven guiding steps. Gabby invites everyone to begin climbing her ladder, slowly at first, up through grief to find healing. Gabby knows that a safe and caring place--where everyone is seen and heard--becomes a healing place. A time to hear each others' stories...to share troubling thoughts and helpful ideas...a way to find the strength to keep going and to encourage each other to climb higher on her ladder. Then, by reaching a greater understanding of the human need to grieve and move on--healing begins. Gabby helps us all come to know that as a community of caring people,
we are "angels on call" for each other. And now, Gabby is
